Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for building maintenance including but not limited to light plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, door hardware repairs, carpet cleaning, and carpentry.
- Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owed by the company.
- Completing turn overs.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with all residents, management and coworkers while working in a team environment.
- Engage in grounds activities to ensure parking lots and exterior surroundings are accessible, safe and maintain a professional appearance at all times. Including but not limited to snow removal, landscaping, trash collection and lawn care.
Job Requirements:
- Maintain a professional, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful attitude with the residents, and staff
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Ability to use a computer and iPhone
- Able to plan, prioritize, and manage own work
- Able to work a flexible work schedule, some evenings and weekends as needed.
- Valid driver's license
- Physical ability to move around buildings and grounds in all weather conditions; Bend, stretch, stoop, stand, sit, balance, climb stairs and ladders; Lift, carry, push/pull a minimum of 50 pounds and maximum of 125 pounds with assistance

Leasing Specialist – Duluth, MN
Our Opportunity
We are seeking a bright, talented, self-motivated, Apartment Leasing Consultant who would enjoy the small office setting at a luxury rental property in Duluth. The main responsibilities include leasing and maintaining positive resident relations of multi-family residential apartments.
The ideal candidate will have a college education and previous experience within the real estate field as a leasing consultant. Must be friendly, professional and have excellent customer service skills. Candidate to be computer-literate, and proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Strong verbal and written skills are a must.
Job Responsibilities:

Leasing
- Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria (ask questions; utilize completed guest cards, etc.).
- Conduct tours of community and apartment/model and apply product knowledge to clients needs by communicating the features and benefits; close the sale.
- Have prospect complete application and secure deposit in accordance with the company procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
- Immediately follow-up on prospects that did not close and attempt to close sale again. If unable to help prospect, refer them to sister communities to meet prospect’s needs.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all the times.
- Maintain current resident files.
- Distribute all company or community-issued notices.
- Assist management team with other various tasks as required.
- Consistently implement policies of the community.
Essential Job Functions:
- Fair Housing Certification, willingness to obtain prior to interacting with prospective residents.
- Demonstrate an ability to support and contribute to community team.
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
- Operate telephone, personal computer/keyboard, Microsoft Office including Word and MS Outlook, community software Must possess a positive attitude
- Participate in training in order to comply with new or existing laws.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Two (2) years experience in previous relevant customer service.
- Comply with expectations as demonstrated in the employee handbook.
- Demonstrate ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns to avoid escalation of the problem.
