Job Responsibilities:

• Project Management, planning, budgeting, and completing projects related to rental property upkeep and improvements. Examples include; paving, concrete, flooring, drywall, siding, windows, doors, landscaping, carpentry, and renovations.
• Plan and execute maintenance tasks as needed
• Utilize existing skills and learn new skills to do work “in house” that would otherwise have been hired out to vendors
• Assist with upholding high standards for quality of work and customer service
• Provide guidance, training, and support to site and roving maintenance staff
• Provide input for capital improvements and equipment purchases

Job Requirements:

• Strong mechanical inclination is essential, the ability to see a problem, determine the cause, and follow through with a repair.
• Understanding, comprehension, and experience with elements of residential construction and remodeling. (exterior work, basic electrical, basic plumbing, painting, drywall finishing)
• Experience operating equipment used in snow removal, and lawn care.
• Comfortable with basic computer and iPhone skills (email, texting, Excel)
• Willingness to lead by example and demonstrate strong hands on work ethic when needed
• Valid driver's license
• Physical ability to move around buildings and grounds in all weather conditions; Bend, stretch, stoop, stand, sit, balance, climb stairs and ladders; Lift, carry, push/pull a minimum of 50 pounds and maximum of 125 pounds with assistance

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete maintenance / projects including home renovations, apartment turn over, general maintenance.
• Responsible for maintenance including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, door hardware repairs, and carpentry.
• Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owed by the company.
• Maintain grounds- snow removal and sprinkler system.
• Performs maintenance as scheduled by the Facilities Manager.
• Daily tasks with superior customer service and always represent the company in a professional manner.

Job Requirements:

• Maintain a professional, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful attitude with the residents, and staff.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Proficient on a computer and iPhone
• Able to plan, prioritize, and manage own work
• Able to work a flexible work schedule, evenings and weekends as needed.

• Operate plow truck and skid is a plus

What You’ll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our properties operating smoothly, safely, and professionally. Your responsibilities will include:

Building & Unit Maintenance:

• Perform general building maintenance, including light plumbing, electrical work, appliance repair, door hardware repairs, carpentry, and carpet cleaning
• Complete apartment turnovers efficiently and to company standards
• Inspect units and common areas to identify maintenance needs and ensure quality repairs

Grounds & Exterior Care:

• Assist with grounds maintenance to ensure parking lots, walkways, and exterior areas are safe, accessible, and well-maintained
• Participate in snow removal during winter months
• Help maintain a clean, professional appearance across all exterior spaces

Equipment & Team Collaboration:

• Maintain, organize, and track company tools, supplies, and equipment
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with residents, management, and coworkers
• Work collaboratively as part of a team that takes pride in its work

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• On-call rotation required, including some evenings and weekends as needed

Forest Lake Full-Time Cleaner

Our Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Full-Time Day Cleaner to join our team at our luxury apartment communities in Forest Lake, MN. This role is essential to maintaining clean, welcoming, and high-end living environments for our residents. This role is responsible for multiple sites within Forest Lake, and duties include general cleaning and upkeep of the property, offices, community and helping with turning of apartments.

Responsibilities include:

• General cleaning and upkeep of common areas, offices, and community spaces
• Assisting with apartment turnovers, including cleaning units between residents
• Manage and supervise a team of cleaners during turnovers
• Maintaining cleanliness of hallways, entryways, restrooms, and amenity areas
• Working with the property management and maintenance teams to uphold property standards

Qualifications:

• Previous commercial or residential cleaning experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, well-presented spaces
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Dependable, punctual, and professional

Schedule:

• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hours weekly), Summer OVT
