This position as Roving Maintenance Technician is responsible for overall maintenance and upkeep of our communities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Prepare turn over on apartments, which may include painting, carpet cleaning, general repairs.
· Responsible for building maintenance including but not limited to light plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, door hardware repairs, carpet cleaning, and carpentry.
· Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owed by the company.
· Assist in keeping the building clean, including trash removal.
· Maintains the functions of the buildings including HVAC, plumbing and electrical.
· Maintains grounds- including lawn care, snow removal, sprinkler system, dog park amenities.
· Performs maintenance as scheduled by the Property Manager.
· Daily work orders with superior customer service and always represents the company in a professional manner.
· Maintains and safeguards all company tools and equipment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Maintain a professional, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful attitude with the residents, and staff.
Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Proficient on a computer and iPhone
Able to plan, prioritize, and manage own work
Able to work a flexible work schedule, evenings and weekends as needed.
Valid driver's license
Physical ability to move around buildings and grounds in all weather conditions; Bend, stretch, stoop, stand, sit, balance, climb stairs and ladders; Lift, carry, push/pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
Operate a lawn mower, plow truck and skid is a plus
